This guy rode a recumbent bike all the way from Vancouver to the northern side of Canada (nearly). A great deal of the ride was on the famed Dempster Highway, a 750 km dirt road in the middle of the Arctic. Sample quote: “I have powerful lights for riding at night but I am a little worried about plowing into a black bear.”
